Raised in the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea in limited quantities, harvested only upon order and selected one by one!

PR1MUS Sea bream

Sea bream goes by the scientific name Sparus aurata and belongs to the Sparidae family. It can be found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Characteristics: Its tear-like shape allows it to remain still in sea currents so as to seek food. It is a protandrous fish, meaning it is born male and as it ages it becomes female. It is silver in color with a characteristic gold band on the head and reddish hues on the cheeks. Bright coloration is a sign of freshness, just like Primus Sea Bream.

Primus sea bream grows in the Ionian Sea, taking around 20 months to reach 500 gr and around 32 months to reach 1 kg.

PR1MUS Sea bass

Sea bass goes by the scientific name Dicentrarchus labrax and belongs to the Moronidae family. It can be found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Characteristics: A hunting fish with a long, narrow, torpedo-shaped body, which helps it move rapidly because of its superior hydrodynamics. Silver in color, it is slightly darker on the back and white in the abdomen, enabled to use its coloration for camouflage.

PR1MUS Pagrus

Pagrus belongs to the Sparidae family. It can be found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Characteristics: Its shape is similar to that of the sea bream, with a characteristic large head and relatively wide mouth. It is reddish-gold on the back and silvery white in the abdomen.

Primus Pagrus grows in the Ionian Sea and takes around 20-22 months to reach 500 gr and around 30-33 months to reach 1 kg.

PR1MUS Meagre

Meagre goes by the scientific name Argyrosomus regius and belongs to the Sciaenidae family. It can be found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.  

It is frequently found in shallow, rocky waters.

Characteristics: This is a hunting fish with a long thin body and large mouth with a characteristic yellowish hue. It is greyish-silver in color with hints of yellow on the abdomen and fins. One impressive fact is that it can reach 100 kg.

The Primus Meagre grows in the Ionian Sea and takes around 15 months to reach 1 kg and around 30 months to reach 4-5 kg.
